In session 3 of Dale Carnegie Course Jewel told us a story. I like it very much, so I’d like to share with you today!

That was about twenty years ago. One morning, he was forced to go to a trainning around 7:00pm. So he went there with a sleepy eyes and a bad attitude—-why they want to schedule a meeting this early! Crap.

The trainer was an old guy, he shake hand with everyone with a great smile. And at the beginning of the training, he jumped and waved his hand, say it loudly:

If you act enthusiastic, you will be enthusiastic!

Then he asked everyone to follow him and do the same thing.

Jewel thought it was a really bad idea, it looks totally crazy! Why we want to do something like that.

But the trainner insist. He said, you know what, I am here to make you do this. This is my job, I can’t go if you don’t do it.

So Jewel was like, whatever, I will just do it.

He start to Jump and say it slowly:

If you act enthusiastic, you will be enthusiastic!

The first time is little strange. The 2nd time is little better. When it goes to the third time, he find himself with a great passion and he feel his morale is very high. So that he can jump as tall as he can and say it with a lot of Enthusiasm:

If you act enthusiastic, you will be enthusiastic!

What we learn from this story? Everything is about attitude!

If you think you are a loser, you are a loser! If you think you are an expert, then work hard, little by little, you will become an expert! If you think you can be success, envision the success everyday, you will be success down the road.

So If you act enthusiastic, you will be enthusiastic!

How about we do this: Starting from today, change your attitude. Don’t tell yourself you can’t do this or you are not good at that. Just tell youself: I am doing great in everything I am engaged in and I am the most passionate people in the world. I will achieve every goal I set for myself and I will do it with my great enthusiasm.
